How To Manifest Love & Deepen Relationships - Interview With Karen McPhail
Valentine’s Special: The Art of Manifesting Love & Lasting Connection: Interview With Soulmate Manifestation Coach (Karen McPhail)
I’m so excited to share with you on this Valentine’s Day a heartfelt interview with my amazing client Karen McPhail (Soulmate Manifestation Coach), in which we dive into manifesting love, conscious relationships, and creating deep, lasting connection.
Note: The interview has been published today in the Valentine’s Special edition of Sretna Žena Magazin – Moć Ljubavi (in Bosnian / Croatian/ Serbian language) - and it was so profound and inspiring, that I decided to publish it here in English as well!
Q: You began your professional journey as a teacher before transitioning towards coaching. Can you share what inspired that shift, and what ultimately led you to specialise in Soulmate Manifestation Coaching?
A: After my divorce from a 20-year marriage, I returned to the classroom so I could remain as present as possible for my children while working full-time as a single mom. Having the same school holidays, being home shortly after they arrived from school, and spending summers together mattered deeply to me during that season of life.
Teaching was also a natural fit. It’s one of my innate gifts, and I’ve always had a heart for helping children learn, grow, and believe in themselves. For that chapter of my life, it was the ideal career—for both my family and me.
What ultimately opened the door to coaching, however, was meeting and marrying my soulmate. Around the same time my youngest graduated from high school and prepared to leave for college, I married and moved more than 4,000 miles across the country to begin a new life with my soulmate love. It was a profound transition—personally, professionally, and spiritually. With my husband’s encouragement and support, and after completing several coaching certifications, I felt called to step fully into the work my heart had been leading me toward.
I realised I was ready to transition from teaching children to coaching adults—especially women—using the very principles that had transformed my own life. My journey to love didn’t just change my relationship status, it clarified my purpose. Specialising in soulmate manifestation coaching became a natural extension of both my lived experience and my lifelong passion for teaching, guiding, and empowering others.
Q: Your personal story deeply resonates with many women. After years of being a single mother and experiencing unsuccessful dating, you eventually met your soulmate. What inner changes or shifts did you notice before that relationship appeared in your life?
A: I was listening to a radio show or podcast when I heard a caller ask Joe Dispenza how someone manifests their soulmate. I’m paraphrasing, but his response was both simple and profound: You have to become your own soulmate first. We don’t attract what we want—we attract who and what we are. To call in a soulmate, you need to become your own soulmate first.
In that moment, everything finally made sense. Because the Law of Attraction teaches that what we focus on expands—and as my mentor and manifestation teacher Mike Dooley says, “Thoughts become things”—I could suddenly see why love hadn’t arrived yet.
Although I deeply desired a soulmate, much of my internal focus was actually on the absence of one. Without realising it, I was giving energy to what wasn’t working rather than what I wanted to create. I noticed how often I was operating from a victim mindset, carrying a lack of trust in men—and more importantly, a lack of trust in myself when it came to relationships. My attention was frequently drawn to everything that felt “wrong” in my life, rather than intentionally cultivating how I wanted to feel, think, and live within a loving partnership.
Externally, I was doing all the things I thought I was supposed to do. I had a vision board. I said affirmations. I visualized the life I desired. And yet, for years, manifesting my soulmate had felt unattainable. I considered myself a master manifester—I had successfully manifested in so many areas of my life. And still, the thing I desired most in my life–soulmate love–had eluded me.
The real shift in my life came when I stopped trying to attract love from a place of lack and instead began embodying love from a place of wholeness within me.
I turned my focus inward and began cultivating the qualities I longed for in a partner—self-trust, emotional availability, presence, safety, health and joy—within myself first. I learned how to meet my own needs, honor my boundaries, love my life in the moment and create a deeply fulfilling relationship with myself.
From that place, everything changed. I was no longer dating from longing or frustration—I was showing up from fullness. It was from that inner alignment that my soulmate naturally entered my life–on a solo trip to Paris of all places.
Q: Through your work with women, what are the most common blocks you observe when it comes to manifesting a soulmate — especially for women who are doing inner work but are not yet seeing the manifestation in the physical world?
A: The most common blocks I see in women mirror the very ones I faced myself when I was doing the inner work, but still not seeing results.
The first is focusing on what’s missing rather than who they are becoming. Many women are deeply aware of what they don’t have yet—a partner, emotional safety, shared vision—and without realizing it, their attention stays anchored in lack. Even with strong intentions, that focus can quietly reinforce and continue to manifest the very absence they’re hoping to change.
Another major block is unexamined, negative subconscious thought patterns. On the surface, a woman may be visualizing, affirming, and doing the “work,” yet beneath that, old conditioning, self-protection strategies, and inherited beliefs about love are still running the show. These subconscious patterns often sabotage manifestation—not because the woman is doing anything wrong, but because the nervous system and subconscious haven’t yet been brought into alignment with her desires.
And finally, one of the deepest and most tender blocks I see is a lack of true self-worth around receiving the love they desire. Many women say they want a high-caliber soulmate, but at a deeper level, they don’t yet feel fully deserving of that kind of love—especially if they’ve experienced abandonment, betrayal, or long periods of doing life on their own. When worthiness hasn’t been fully embodied, love can feel close… but still out of reach. Put simply, if we don’t believe we are worthy of receiving this amazing soulmate love and partner, we won’t allow ourselves to receive it, ultimately sabotaging the thing we desire the most–soulmate love.
What I’ve learned, both personally and as a coach, is that manifestation shifts when women stop trying to get love and instead focus on becoming the version of themselves who naturally receives it. When identity, subconscious belief, and emotional safety align, the outer relationship can finally match the inner work that’s already been done.
Q: Many women focus on manifesting a partner, and it is also important to consciously nurture the relationship once it begins. From your perspective, why is this ongoing awareness essential, and what helps couples deepen intimacy, strengthen emotional connection, and build a relationship that feels loving and sustainable over time?
A: From my perspective, manifesting a soulmate isn’t the end of the journey—it’s the beginning of a new level of conscious creation together.
Using my own relationship as an example, one of the most important elements in our soulmate partnership has been shared passions and shared dreams—especially dreams we actively desire to manifest together.
In our case, that includes our mutual love of travel and a dream we brought into physical reality side by side: purchasing an old farmhouse in the beautiful Burgundy wine region in France. Manifesting as a true team has been one of the most bonding, joyful, and meaningful experiences of our marriage.
That shared vision gives our relationship a sense of aliveness and forward movement. We’re not just maintaining a connection—we’re building something together, which naturally deepens intimacy and strengthens emotional connection.
Equally important is respecting and honoring each other’s differences. Rather than seeing differences in personality, communication style, or temperament as challenges, we’ve come to recognize how they actually strengthen us as a couple. Our differences create balance—a natural yin and yang that supports growth, perspective, and resilience.
At the foundation of everything, though, is friendship. Deep friendship, open and honest communication, and genuinely enjoying one another’s company creates emotional safety. From that safety, intimacy can continue to expand.
Ultimately, what sustains love over time is a shared commitment—not just to the relationship itself, but to creating a beautiful life together. When both partners are consciously devoted to that shared creation, love doesn’t fade, it deepens.
This is also why one of the future programs I’m most excited to create is designed specifically for couples—supporting them in consciously designing and manifesting the beautiful life they desire together. When partners learn how to manifest as a team, the relationship itself becomes a living, evolving expression of their shared vision. When done with intention and alignment, manifesting together doesn’t just add to what’s possible—it amplifies it. What I have experienced first hand in my marriage, which I didn’t even imagine as one of the amazing perks of marrying my soulmate, is that the two of us moving in the same energetic direction can expand creation in ways that go far beyond what either could manifest alone.
Q: What message would you like to share with women who are consciously focusing on manifesting a soulmate partner and cultivating a healthy, aligned relationship?
A: First and foremost, I want women to know how deeply I admire and respect the work they are already doing. The desire to consciously manifest a soulmate and create a meaningful partnership speaks to courage, self-awareness, and a willingness to grow. There is truly nothing more rewarding than sharing life with your soulmate love—having a partnership that allows you to experience life in ways that expand far beyond what you once believed was possible.
Because I know what it felt like to walk my own soulmate manifestation journey largely on my own, I also understand how challenging it can be to navigate that path without support. Trying to piece everything together independently can feel isolating, confusing, and unnecessarily slow.
What I’ve seen—both personally and through my work with women—is that having a coach and a specialized program to walk alongside you can be powerfully transformative. Support doesn’t just accelerate what you desire to manifest in your soulmate relationship; it enriches the entire journey. It creates clarity, confidence, and a deeper sense of trust in yourself and the process.
This work isn’t just about finding love—it’s about becoming the woman who can receive it fully and sustain it beautifully. And that is a path I am deeply honored to support women through.
Q: How do you support women in your work, and what makes your approach to soulmate manifestation different from many mainstream teachings?
A: The primary way I support women around the world is through my signature coaching program, The Soulmate Solution. Until now, this work has been offered exclusively as a six-month, live group coaching experience. I’m incredibly excited to be opening the doors to a digital version of the program on February 14, 2026, making this transformational work accessible to women anywhere, at any time—and at a price point designed to truly serve.
In addition to the program, I also offer one-on-one coaching packages, allowing women to receive personalised support at every stage of their soulmate manifestation journey.
What truly sets The Soulmate Solution apart from many mainstream manifestation programs is that it’s grounded not only in manifestation principles, but in lived experience. The work is based on my own personal soulmate manifestation journey and the exact inner shifts that made sustainable love possible in my life.
At the heart of the program is what I call the Future Soulmate Self—the version of a woman who is already living, thinking, and relating from the energy of the partnership she desires. While we absolutely work with the Law of Attraction—focusing attention on what we want to expand and becoming the qualities we wish to manifest—we go far deeper than mindset alone.
This work is holistic. We focus on aligning a woman’s emotional state, subconscious beliefs, nervous system, and energetic frequency with what she desires to receive. In practical terms, that means learning how to embody the highest frequencies of authenticity, self-trust, love, and joy—so that the relationship she calls in is a natural reflection of who she has become.
Ultimately, women who move through this work don’t just manifest a soulmate—they become their own soulmate first. They fall in love with their lives, show up fully expressed in the world, and attract partnership from a place of wholeness rather than longing. Many women share that The Soulmate Solution is one of the most profound self-love and personal development experiences they’ve ever had—not because it promises love, but because it teaches them how to live and love at their highest potential.
Q: For readers who feel drawn to work with you, how can they begin? Are there specific resources on your website — such as programs, courses, or free materials — that you recommend as a starting point?
A: For women who feel drawn to this work, the best place to begin is by visiting my website at www.karenmcphailcoaching.com, where I’ve created a variety of resources to meet women exactly where they are on their soulmate journey.
For those who prefer to start gently, I offer several free resources, including my 5 Steps to Manifest Your Soulmate FREE eGuide, along with podcast and magazine interviews where I share more of my story and the foundational principles behind my work. These are wonderful entry points for gaining clarity and beginning to shift perspective and energy around love.
For women who feel ready for deeper support, my website also includes a range of paid offerings in my store—from guided meditations and soulmate vision board experiences to my smaller 3 module course Soulmate Mastery, a more focused program designed to support specific stages of the manifestation journey and Manifest Your Soulmate Guided Meditation. I also offer one-on-one coaching packages for women who desire personalised guidance.
My signature program, The Soulmate Solution, is now available in a digital format, allowing women to move through this transformational work at their own pace. For those who are interested in the live, group experience, there is also an option to join the waitlist for the next cohort.
Ultimately, there’s no single “right” place to start—only the place that feels most aligned for you. My intention is to provide multiple pathways of support so every woman can begin in a way that feels both accessible and empowering.
